Razor Shark's Jackpots Build: A Separate Slot

In short: The Jackpots build of Razor Shark is a separate Push Gaming release that adds five fixed prize tiers to the Razor machinery. Its product page prints 96.38% and 94.30%, and those two figures describe this game alone, never the original.

Push Gaming lists this beside Razor Shark rather than inside it, and the figures on its page describe the tier machine only. The studio grades it Medium, the only game in the Razor line with that grade, and pays five fixed tiers out of a Shark Pot above the reels.

Razor Shark Jackpots: Key Features

Five Tiers, Two Prices

Mini, Minor, Maxi and Major each cost four tokens, and the Mega costs six.

Prizes Scale with Your Stake

The tiers pay x10, x25, x50, x500 and x5000 of the selected base bet, so a tier is worth whatever your bet makes it worth.

Fixed, Not Pooled

Push Gaming ties the values to the selected base bet, so the prize stays that size whether one player is spinning or ten thousand are. Calling these progressive jackpots, as a good many listings do, misreads the mechanic.

The Shark Pot Runs It

The studio writes that the feature starts when the pot above the reels activates.

A Renamed Trigger

Here the symbol that opens Razor Reveal is the Golden Mystery Symbol; in the original it is the Golden Shark, which is the version our own screenshots show.

The Grid Is Missing

The studio prints no reel layout and no win-line count for this build, so anyone quoting 5x4 and twenty lines is copying the original's specification across and hoping.

One Figure, Two Decimals

HIGHEST OBSERVED WIN reads 11,007.70x, and those decimals carry the meaning: the studio reports something it watched rather than a ceiling it designed.

We Read It, We Did Not Play It

Our 9 October demo session ran on the original, where 129 presses of the spin button at a 0.50 stake closed one free-spins round at 14.25, or 28.5 times that stake.

Eleven Returns Sit Behind the Original

Inside the original's client we counted eleven build variants, from 96.70% down to 85.70%. This build's code stayed closed to us, and guessing how many sit behind its own pair would be invention.

Key Terms Used on This Page

Token
The counter this release collects toward a tier; four tokens award the Mini, Minor, Maxi or Major, and six award the Mega.
Shark Pot
The meter above the reels that Push Gaming says activates the tier feature, which pays one of five fixed prizes.
Fixed prize tier
A prize set as a multiple of your base bet rather than a growing pool; here the five run x10, x25, x50, x500 and x5000.
Golden Mystery Symbol
The name this release gives the symbol that opens Razor Reveal, a job the original hands to the Golden Shark.
Highest observed win
Push Gaming's field for the largest win it has recorded on a game, printed here as 11,007.70x.

What Else Do Readers Ask?

These are the questions readers send after a listing put this build and the original side by side. The answers come from Push Gaming's own product pages, read on 9 October.

Game Info screen of the original showing 96.70%
The original's Game Info screen, printing a theoretical return of 96.70% and client version 13.2.6. Source: our own screenshot.
Does this release change the return of the original?

No. Its page prints 96.38% and 94.30%, while the original's page prints a separate pair, 96.70% and 94.06%.

How many tokens does the Mega tier need?

Six. The Mini, Minor, Maxi and Major each need four before Push Gaming awards the prize attached to them.

Are these jackpots progressive?

No. Push Gaming ties the values to the selected base bet, so every tier pays a fixed multiple of your stake instead of a growing pool.

Where does the x5000 figure come from?

Push Gaming's product page lists all five tier values, from x10 on the Mini up to x5000 on the Mega. We read it on 9 October.

How did we check these numbers?

We read the product page for this build and compared every field with the three other Razor pages on the same morning.
