Checklist

Checklist: Razor Shark Slot Bet Limits (10 Items)

In short: Twelve total-bet steps run from 0.10 to 100.00, with 0.50 set by default. In Britain the ladder stops short: the stake cap is £5 per game cycle, and £2 for players under 25.

You get twelve stakes in this game and no way to split them across lines. The list below is what the bet panel offers, what the British cap does to it, and which operator figures contradict both.

Note: Use this before your first stake, and again if an operator page quotes a limit that looks generous. Every figure here was read twice. Once from the game server's own settings response, and once by hand from the bet panel, in Push Gaming's public demo on 9 October. That demo serves the 96.70% build, so the ladder below is the one attached to the highest return the studio ships.
✓
Count the steps, there are twelve
The panel allows 0.10, 0.20, 0.50, 1.00, 2.00, 3.00, 5.00, 10.00, 20.00, 30.00, 50.00 and 100.00, and nothing between them.
✓
Note the default
The client pre-selects 0.50, which is also the stake every figure on the in-game paytable is calculated at.
✓
Remember there is no bet-per-line control
The 20 win lines are fixed and always active, so the panel figure is your whole stake for the round.
✓
Stop at £5 if you are playing in Britain
The regulator caps the stake at five pounds per game cycle. That puts the top five steps of the ladder out of reach and leaves seven.
✓
Stop at £2 if you are under 25
A lower cap applies to that age group, and it applies in every British lobby regardless of the game.
✓
Distrust any operator page quoting more
Of 40 MrQ game pages sampled, 38 carried a readable grid and 15 of those publish a maximum stake above the British cap, up to £250, while 15 others correctly stop at £5.00.
✓
Check the figure against the same page's return
MrQ is the fullest British witness on this game and also the one carrying stale limits, so quote its 96.70% with that caveat attached.
✓
Expect the ladder to look shorter in a real lobby
Operators trim the list to fit their own limits. A British account will not show the same twelve steps the studio's demo does.
✓
Ask which build the stake sits on
We measured this ladder on the 96.70% version; the client bundle carries eleven returns in total, and the stake steps belong to a build, not to the game in general.
✓
Ignore stake advice framed as a system
Changing your stake alters what a win pays and nothing else; the notice about symbols changing refers to the grid being restored from your last round at that stake.

One Number, Not Twenty

Most slots ask you to set two things, a stake per line and a number of lines. This one asks for a single figure. The panel prints Bet Lines: 20 underneath the grid and leaves it there, so whatever you pick is the whole risk for the round.

Symbol payouts printed in money at a 0.50 stake

That changes how the paytable reads. The symbol values the client shows are money at the stake you have selected, not multiples of it. The same table looks different the moment you move a step up the ladder. Five wilds pay 25.00 at a 0.50 stake. The underlying ratio, 50x the total bet, is the thing that stays still.

The Twelve Steps in Full

Twelve steps is the whole ladder, and the panel offers no thirteenth. We read them twice on . Once off the bet panel by hand, once out of the game server's own settings response. The two lists matched step for step. Only the first seven survive a British lobby.

Every Stake the Bet Panel Allows, Read Twice on 9 October

GroupSteps the panel offersWhat happens in a British lobby
Pennies0.10, 0.20, 0.50All three reachable, and 0.50 is the step the client loads by default
Low1.00, 2.00, 3.00All reachable, though 2.00 is already the ceiling for players under 25
Middle5.00, 10.00, 20.00Only 5.00 survives the cap, which stops the ladder dead at that point
High30.00, 50.00, 100.00Out of reach at any age in Britain

Figures current as of ; the operator's live terms prevail.

Nothing sits between those values. You cannot type 0.75 or 7.50. The server rejects anything outside the list. That is why the figures came back identical, read by hand from the bet panel or taken from the settings response the game server sends on load.

Where the British Cap Bites

Five pounds per game cycle is the limit, and two pounds for players under 25. On this ladder that removes the top five steps outright and leaves seven, so a British account sees a visibly shorter list than the studio's demo shows. Under 25 it is harsher still: only the first five survive.

The cap applies to the cycle rather than to the spin, which matters here because a free-games round can run for many spins off one triggering stake. The stake you set when the mines land is the one the cap measured.

Why MrQ's Own Pages Disagree

MrQ is the most informative British licensee on this game and also the one to read with a hand on the brake.

What MrQ's Own Game Pages Print About Maximum Stakes

MeasureValue
Game pages sampled40, of which 38 carried a readable grid
Pages printing a maximum stake above the cap15, with figures reaching £250
Pages correctly stopping at the cap15, printed as £5.00
What that means for its return figureQuote the 96.70% with the caveat attached

Both halves are live on the same site at the same time, which tells you the operator knows the rule and has not finished applying it everywhere. We do not recommend taking a stake limit from an operator page without checking it against the regulator's figure, however confidently the page states it.

What the Ladder Does Not Tell You

A stake belongs to a build, and the build is the part nobody shows you. We measured this ladder in the studio's public demo, which serves the 96.70% version. The client bundle carries a variant table listing eleven returns that run down to 85.70%. The stake steps may well be identical across them; the return behind those steps is not.

So the useful question at the cashier is narrower than it looks. Ask what the game returns at this casino, then set the stake.
